The "hotel" is actually a cruising canal barge & is used as a B&B when not cruising. Absolutely superb with 6 double cabins. The whole ship is beatifully restored in wood panelling throughout & well furnished.
The fact that I was only staying for the one night!

Host was really, really nice and super helpful. He didn't expect us as our booking had not come through but had a perfect room (cabin) available for us and everything was as hoped for. Also super breakfast and the bed and pillows..... oh! so comfortable!! Shower/bathroom was also excellent.
We only stayed 1 night and -on hindsight- we should have stayed 2 nights in Antwerp instead of going to Oostende (which turned out to be a real disappointment!).

The converted canal boat made staying in Antwerp unique, the breakfast was excellent as was the service. We felt most welcomed and very comfortable. Waking up to see the fog on the water was amazing.
Nothing - it was perfect!

Slept very well due to small movements of the ship and the quiet surroundings
Difficulty finding the Marjorie II with the supplied directions

Roddy, the owner, could not have been more attentive. The welcome was first class and nothing was too much trouble. The lounge area is spectacular and is really comfortable whilst still retaining an intimate atmosphere
The bathroom was very compact--it is ,after all, a boat, but a solid ,rather than folding door would have been nicer and a single wash basin would give a little more space

A nice choice
The morning fruit juice could be better! But there are only very few hotels in the world that provide a real fresh juice!
